Just wanted to introduce myself , long time car guy . Just acquired a 1959 El Camino after a long time wanting one , she is in need of some love , but I'm up to the task . I am sure I will need the wisdom , and sometimes wit , of the members here . Your knowledge of the cars and where to source parts . Looking forward to "speaking" with everyone in the near future , and maybe I'll run into you at the Fall Boardwalk Car Show in Wildwood NJ in 2 weeks .
Speedfreak, I envy you living in South Jersey. We're at the American Safari on Ocean Ave. fof the Wildwood run. Stop by and say hi. We usually have a Saturday night party on the deck there after 8:00 or so. Come by and introduce yourself. There will be a bunch of HAMBers there.
I'll have my pickup this year, I didn't get my coupe finished in time and it's killing me. There will be a crew of HAMB friendly cars there and we always have a deck party on Saturday night. Just come up and ask for Koz, everybody knows me. There will be a crew of HAMB guys there you'll recognize from here and some cars you've seen on build threads. Can't wait to meet up. I'll PM my cell. We're there from Thursday night on, 5610 Ocean Avenue, American Safari Motel, right near where the boardwalk starts in the 'Crest.
