shot these detail pics for an upcoming event and thought someone might be interested in seeing how we made the fuel line and the carb return spring bracket. Researched some old plumbers handbooks to find the accepted practice for making a "tee" fitting back before you could buy them prefabed. Copied the carb return spring bracket from the '35 Miller Ford V8s.

original Edelbrock slingshot. original Navarro heads bought from Barney 9 years ago. a late 1931 Roadster is now behind the flathead instead of my old Tudor.

    Hi,
I still have the burns duel carb manifold. I have added a 453- gm blower.
With 53 corvette side draft carbs. runs great.

I saw this today at the Springfield, OH swap meet. For a 218/230 Dodge or Plymouth flathead 6 with integral bypass. Appears NOS, or very near, and it's water heated.

Here's a variation on that theme of Weber side drafts.

This is a Sandice manifold made in Milwaukee probably early post WWII to mount two Riley side drafts as used on the Offy midget engine to a V8-60.

Here's my Studebaker Champion with F.I. runners adapted from Tecalemit-Jackson runners original cast together in pairs to directly replace Weber DCOE.

At least a hundred just for curiosity. We need to know their condition for them to be worth any more.

I waited a longtime to find and acquire this manifold. It is one of only two
ever cast by Tommy Thickstun and Jack Radke. This one, the second was never finished. It dates to around 1936 when Thickstun and Radke were partners. According to Radke it worked well at high speed but idled poorly because of the individual runner design. The finished one was sold to Belond and used on his roadster between 40-42.

I believe it was cast by either Davies or whomever Davies was using for his manifolds. The generator support is identical to pre-war Davies and notice that there is no provision for intake manifold dowels which I think started in 39 but I'm sure someone will help us with that fact.
