Projects Basement/body shop find 32

If I ever had a day that lucky I would buy some Powerball tickets also. By the way I am not a 32 expert, what is the thing in the center lower part of the firewall that looks like a friction shock? Thanks

the friction shock thing is a vibration damper for the four cylinder. as far as engine choice....flathead and 39 trans. also thanks for all the offers to buy stuff, but right now i dont plan on selling anything. thanks

Looks like it had a four banger in her with the damper on the firewall if that came with the car. Great find and have fun!
