I'm lovin' it!!......

Went too my local McDonald's this morning and they had this gem on display.....

 

I'm loving it too!

 

That must be the one on Woodward near Beaumont Hospital,... They had a Joco Streamliner there about 10 years ago,.. if I remember right.

 

Ummm... Nope! It was the one on Ford Rd. in Dearborn...

 

Cool,... The one near (or in) Birmingham is the first one I ever seen do that,... very cool!

 

I'll try and go there again later this week and get more pictures..
That last picture on the bottom show's an old train track on the floor.. Probably from a Lionel(sp) train set...

 

It looks like a Model A 5 Window.... I never seen one with dual spares on it before....

 

jeez all my local McDonald's display is a size 22 mom stuffed in size 6 clothes with 5 screaming uncaged kids..

Every once in awhile, they park it on a platform right up in front... Last time it was sitting out, I didn't have my cell phone with me... DOH!

I'm not a big fan of their burgers, so I don't know..

 

So, what's the deal with that big "hope chest" on the rear bumper???
Was that an optional item from Ford's???

 

They have this car inside a What A Burger on Broadway Ave in Tyler, TX.



And one side of a 57 Chevy in the window.......



And a ceiling full of hubcaps at the Chuy's Mexican restaurant there.

 

That trunk was the "trunk" on cars back then.
Sits on a fold down support rack.

I think it was probably an option.

I bet all those caps were stolen and the owner only paid the kid a buck a piece for'em.. LOL

 

Holy Crap that's cool! If I ever own a restaurant, I want to alternate cars like that on display.

BTW, a McDonalds about 10-15 min from me always has two vintage motorcycles on display that alternates. Currently, they have a late 50's or early 60's Harley and an awesome 40's racing Indian! That thing is so frickin' cool! I'll upload a picture of it later.

I have been to that one a while ago when I lived in Dalonega GA. Cool place!

 

And you can just bet everyone of those little booger pickers will be wiping their greasey little fingers all over it in no time thinking it is a carnival ride. I would not put a car in a place like that.

good car...bad food. car is less greasy.

 

I've been to that one also during "the cruise" Did you check out all the diecasts they got in there??? Lot's of cool stuff!

 

It's blocked off with rails.. The booger pickers rolleyes ain't allowed in there....

I have never seen anything like that at mcdonalds. The last couple times I went I wanted to throw up so I haven't been back
