Hotrod 95, Ya got a good start! Especially if ya have her helping! Photos in post #252 look like Joe's shop in Ponca City? He's helped me several times and what a great guy! If ya got him and your dad both helping, you are one lucky guy! Keep us posted....
Thanks! And yah, it's a great deal! He said it was a 34 ford, I'm not sure Yes sir! You know your stuff! Great guy! Has helped me a ton! And thanks! Yes sir, and thank you! Thank you! and haha, I've got to get this built so I can drive it, it's my only ride haha
Your truck is really coming along. With deals like that cab you are going to have a great ride on a low budget. Hang on to your girl friend too...a woman that likes to help with her man's ride is a keeper. I married mine and she still helps me 40 years later. Keep the pic's coming.
Updates!! Got my cab loaded and hauled off today: And got my new one brought home!! Then I stripped the parts off the cab (more pics tomorrow when it's sunny) and got to checking out these really look seats that I've never seen in a 48 before!! The passenger side seat (the part you sit on) folds up for more space, and the drivers side has a shock, with a spring! Crazy kool! More updates tomorrow!
Here are the pics of the seat folded up and the spring/shock on the seat! And I got the cab stripped of most parts so it can be primed next weekend!!
The cab has an F-5 plate on the side...Big truck seats! Should ride really nice with that sprung seat. Love the turn signal assembly on the steering column, be a cool unit to save for the build. Take your time and enjoy the build, you're doing great. Keep the lady, Mine has been helping for nearly 45 years, the greatest blessing of my life.
Heck yah! I'm hoping it will be a smooth ride! And I'm trying my best to keep her around I completely agree! Thanks!!
Wow great work, my 14 year old boy and I just started picking away at his 51 shoebox ford. Your truck is really coming around.
Kool! I've Always wanted one! Trust me! He appreciates your help and loves having you out there supporting him! Just make sure you make him feel like he can do it, and point him in the right direction! Thsnks!! Updates!! Got more of the cab stripped!! Almost ready for primer!!
Keep up the good work honey! Me an you need to have a day out there so I can help out! I'll try not to screw anything up!! <3
You wouldn't screw anything up Hey! You still need to finish that fender! The whole truck needs to be in primer in two weeks!!
Thanks man! Hope you're enjoying the build! Won't probably update until I get it primered this weekend or the next Sometime soon
