question please : this new green paint that is out ... is it called sublime ? if so it seems to be lighter than the ones ive seen done . does anyone know what color they are using ? thank you .. steve
Steve, I am probabnly wrong but I think that sub-lime is a modern day rendition of ugly green that they spritzed on MOPAR Muscle cars back in the late '60s or early '70s. Like I said I am probably wrong but this will at least give something for someone to refute.
Dodge called it Sublime, Plymouth called it Lime Light, code J5 I had a '70 GTX that color. Wish I had never sold it.
If you're talking about 2011 Camaro color, it's Synergy Green! Sublime Green is a 1Shot enamel color, among others.....
YEP! The new Camaro is Synergy Green. It is a great color. We are considering using it on my wifes 1960 Rambler American Wagon.
There is also Green With Envy (2011 Challenger) and Snakeskin Green (2008-10 Viper). The Viper is darker, more vibrant. These are pearl, the old Mopar Sublime was straight. The new Sublime is fairly close to the old, but different.
