Excellent job. You've got some great skills. It looks like it could come from the factory that way.

 

WOW , I'm really blown away from everyone compliments thank you all verry much .

On the hinge its a lot of trial and error you have to start from the mounting point which you want clostest the out side as u can get , then just keep playing around with paper patterns till it has room to open . i hope this helps if you have aney more questions ide be glad to help out as much as i can.

yes , there 52 buick caps on the wagon, its my personal project ive been working on for a while now , the wheels are from wheel vintiques there a unie lug 15 x 7

heck there is another light on the other fender for dual tanks

your clasp edge? is it beveled so it keeps getting tighter or will it possibly loosen up with wear ?
maybe a nylon nub on the inner flat to keep it seated closed ?

speaking of the ground hope its not thru your clasp :O


do like the quick fill cap !
changing bulbs just got easier too
run the wires in rubber fuel lines and triple the ground and yer golden
