I found this little gem last week and couldn't pass it up; Anyone ever seen or heard of one? I think it would be awesome on that perfectly traditional hotrod engine. Small and compact but looks as if it would filter well. BloodyKnuckles
Cool it looks like one I found. Life-time oil filter made in Culver City, Ca. It has the cleanable bronze filter inside.
very interesting-for my '51 Ford coupe have to run a remote full size oil filter and even with a cover it is ugly bulk to look at-your find would be nice in situations like I have.
hey now, don't be talking bad about the Frantz toilet paper oil filter. I used to find them at local swaps for 10 bucks and sell them on ebay for a minimum of $50.00. they have a loyal following and do filter the oil very well.
There was another filter system available called "Lubrefiner",same cleanable filter, etc. Had one on a 48 Chevy.
Thanks guys. I didn't realize that there were other companies that made reusable filters. Cool. BloodyKnuckles
Funny story... That was on my 52 Merc as a trans oil filter. I gave that to Mackel, he sold out and it made it's way back to you. Small world! You told me about it and It didn't even click... But yea, that was my trans filter.
Strange how stuff goes around! Reusable oil filters sound like and oxy-moron to me. But love interesting rare parts, and that these are. Oil filters are bulky things to hang on the mill, but oh so important. ~sololobo~
