i'm am not a ford fan, supporter, or follower AND NEVER WILL BE, but probably Ohio George's mustang. Because it was done right and probably the first "modern" gasser.

i also like the Sellkirk (sp?) Camaro, but don't know much about it?

Add my vote for Bizio's truck...saw it for the first time at Lions when it was still in primer, most wicked-looking gasser ever.

I sorta lean towards a wild Willys or Anglia......but I also have a soft spot for an early Ford or Stude:D

Unfortunately I didnt have the privilege and luck to be born during the "Golden Age" so I have the benefit of looking from the outside in. And honestly I love them all. I wish that mindset and avability of parts and cars and your Generation were doing it now for a second time.

I always loved the '33 Willys of Ohio George, and the '41 SWC Swindler Willys, but little gassers are my favorites! The Austins and Anglias really get me going, and that's why I built my Austin in the old gasser style.

I like almost any one that's real. Sticking a straight axle under everything and calling it a gasser, well not so much. Truth be told, I liked Ohio George's Mustangs more than most others, as well as the few Camaros and mid-size cars that followed. Some were altereds in a gasser style of build.

My best friend Bert took these at BIR & Indy in '69/'70. My son scaned the slides just a week or so ago. Good stuff!
