Rusty 55 chevy gasser project

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by nitrohonkey, Sep 8, 2009.

  1. Here is what is blocking my 55's progress...1964 Cardi "Traveller" canned ham trailer and my Chevy stepside( need a driver!).Everything I own is a pos in need of complete rebuild!
I'm going all out to get these off my list of "to-do's". Then I can post some regular progress without interruption!:D

Man, ditch that 36 Ford and whatever else and finish the Cheb. You got waaaay too much into that 55 to let it sit there and waste space in your garage. If that car were a person it would owe its life to you so you need to justify all the work you put into it, and make it work for you. i dig the hell outta the wheels you picked up for the back. And yeah I'd be a liar to say I never let other project dreams F&%K up the timeline for the one I started first, and would most likely finish first. Kev

  16. Awesome...post some pictures of your 55. Only thing I have done to my 55, in the last year, is move it into the corner of my shop. It is collecting dust from my 36 build.

  21. For starters, you all are going to get some HAMB porn as this project is going to get finished soon. Bad news is I traded it today. I am going to finish all of the panel / metal work. and I will keep you posted with progress. Don't worry going to a very HAMB friendly home!!!

  26. Yeah not too shabby. I've gotten more for it in the last two months than I ever did the first two times I owned it. Got a blower and a nice vintage engine waiting in the wings for it.

  28. I look foreward to finishing the metal work... seems like I enjoy that more than anything else anymore. Just cannot do everything I would like to on my limited buget. I will not leave this thread hanging.
