black steel wheels

I've got them. They're basically rust for right now, but they'll stay black. I just think it looks tougher.

Anybody know where I can find 17" steel wheels with a 5x5 pattern? I can't seem to find anything online

 

I'm thinking about a wheel change to black vented steel rims with moons. I've had these moons for a long time.

Since I removed all the rocker chrome, I think I could get away with it... That was what we all use to have..

I always liked the look of that 63 Catalina...

Wifes roadster

 

For me, someone who doesn't like mags or chrome wheels, it's a natural. It just seems more "business" or as someone put it on here earlier "a no bullshit Hot Rod".....currently putting together a set of all black 16's (wheels and tires) just for a change.......

 

MY 1948 iNTERNATIONAL KB1--a surviver with 36000 original miles. I'm the second owner.

 

Same car, before and after. Same tires, even.

Here's mine. The car will eventually be painted, and for now the black wheels look less R-- R-- than they did when they were red.

 

I must admit your car is my deffinition of perfection! Its been my wall paper before! I cant wait to see it all blacked out!

 

There is not one single pic of a black wall with black wheels and spider caps. Not ONE.

So thats what Im doing.

 

I did black steel wheels because its cheap! I'm a full time college student I had to save up some cash for caddy caps! Finally got them though.............and made it into a full custom

 

I went with mine because steelies are timeless and red steelies are gay. Never even considered a different type of wheel, why would I? I am getting ready to switch back to bias plies. (AGAIN) I like the radials but I need 'em for my daily and just got a good deal on some Goodyear Super Cushions.
