Drove 14 hours straight to get home.Stopped for gas only. It rained for at least 12 of those hours. I enjoyed every minute of it. Proves that a model A coupe works fine for long trips :).

Model A is definitively built for long trips, however 14 hours is impressive:eek: Glad it went well.:)

I can't wait for next year. This event IS something else.
    Has to be experienced.
Me and CuznBrucie went on the virgin trip down there in my roadster this year. The grin on my face is still stuck.

My friend Martin Flink aka "FlatheadRoadster" on here has some more pics on his cool blog.
Worth checking out for you into old style cars and bikes.

    Jeff

These guys have been rocking it like this for like 20 yrs. TinWolf chopped this in the spring of 1993. Ive known about this car since 1998. Always been blown away with the guys on the other side of the pond. They keep it real! LOL!!! Ive talked with a lot of guys from over there and they say that the car mags they got were old one and thought thats how cars where built. So they built them like that. They KICK ASS over there!!

Ha ha... don't believe everything you hear... Old mags only? No import of
magazines since 1953? Yeah right! :D:D:D

On behalf of the A-Bombers we thank you for your kind words and also thank
the great photographers that helps us to see how it looked like on the weekend.
We miss watching so many cool cars and bikes when the event is on. We are
only 4 people organising the event and have been the same since 1996. So our
hands are full. I'm glad I got both my cars running for this years event. Only a
couple of weeks earlier my Merc had no engine and the roadster engine was in
parts. Virgin trip with the roadster and the new 296 cui engine.

I always look forward to this show thread and this year is cool as ever. Damn folks, take a look and some cues here on buildin some classic rods and cutoms. However I must point out that the way bad ass #999 roadster seems to be equipped with a high zoot sunglass holder! Thanx for the excellent coverage, Radio King, sorry you were not able to get the sweet coupe to the event. ~sololobo~
