Didnt find mine? I was parked in the way back today. Camping on the river! Love this show and there's some cool people too. I'll post pics when I get to a computer.
sorry I am having problems posting pictures the hamb will not let me down load them. as soon as I get the porblem fixed I will post more pics.
More pics from Saturday at Symco. It was supposed to rain all day but the fenderless hot rod Gods ruled -- no rain!
If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes in person, I would have thought this was a painting. Fantastic pictures.
had an amazing time - great show - great people - and all those that were paying attention to the weather forecast - 70% chance of rain on Saturday......well - take a look at those pix.... NO RAIN - it was beautiful. do NOT make your decisions based on those reports - COMMIT and go to the shows!!!! Seeya next weekend at the Relix Riot - rain or shine and Bombs Away Bash the weekend after that Greaserama the weekend after that!
Great pictures from all. Just want to thank Cliffy and his whole crew for the super job they did. Despite the forecast the weather was great. The bands were fantastic, the cars were awesome and the pin-up contest and mini bike drags were really cool. This was a great event and anyone that missed it should put it on thier calender now to attend next year. "StudeDude"
Man I love to hear that! I had a gentleman come up to me and tell me that he had been going to car shows all over the country for the last 40 years and "It was, without a doubt, the best car show I've ever attended". I told him it wasn't a car show, that it was summer camp for real hot rodders. He just laughed, shook my hand and said thanks, and wandered off.
Agreed, it's tough to decide what to do, listen to the AWESOME bands or check out the hot rods. It's disappointing when you stumble into the dance hall to listen to a great band and they plan their last song and that's just one of the 3 areas to listen to music. I was thinking that the music could be as much of a draw as the hot rods, but put it all together with the great grounds and it is just amazing!!
Details as to what really happened to me Saturday night are still surfacing. I do know for a fact I had a great time. Met more great people, and most of all look at a lot of great cars. I never found the sock hop tho?
We did get rain on saturday, it rained for about 5 min and then the sun came back out! I watched a guy open an umbrella, put it over his car and then stood there in the rain. only a car guy would do that.
Great show guys. I've been to all three, and it really came together this time! next year will be even better! The combination of the location, the music, the minibike drags, pinup contest & some genuinely fun people and cool cars gives this show that perfect vibe!
Nice pics I could not make this weekend.Any chance you have more pics of the black A bone coupe with the Hemi in post#7??Looks like exactly what I'm after with my coupe.
Three times a charm! Here's a few pics from the pin-up contest...the top 12 to be in a Miss Symco 2012 pin-up calendar...the top five...and our winner, Sweet Pea, just home on leave.
I did not know Voodoo Larry had a band. They were good and fun to watch, Larry was really letting it rip on the big bass. This show is very good, I hope it doesn't get to big to handle. Thank you very much to all who put it on and did such a good job.
I don't have any more pics, but it belongs to Rob Paul here on the HAMB, won the Detroit Autorama with it and he drove it to Symco. It's nice, I'm sure there's other pics of it on the HAMB.
