  2. First of all - all ya all's stuff is incredible this week !!
Too much for me to name everyone, I wish I had more time to do this post and mention everyone, but If you are wondering, yes I like your stuff - every one.
That said, It has been awhile for me.
My Mom is 91 and in Hospice care - so its day by day and it takes a toll.
Some of you know what I mean.
Meanwhile, I broke out of the funk with this one today...

Usually just a tad longer lunch break than my manager thinks, if I time it right and use certain doors coming and going :D But that merc is actually a small drawing, like 4x6 and done over 2 lunch breaks.

Thanks for all the welcomes from the group on my first time in the FAS. Guess I need to get busy for next week.

Wish I had time to comment on everything I saw here today, but I will say I'm blown away by the photographers here. As a traditional media artist I probably haven't paid enough attention to photography as fine art, but the stuff I'm seeing in here is broadening my horizons. Very cool!

Awesome application of what I am assuming is Topaz on these! I am assuming there was a good action photo to be had as the aftermath of the bottom photo as both drivers left the line, then turned to look back at the back of that hot little starter and of course then smashed into each other since they were not watching the road :D

Neatname - great shots as always! Love that before, during and after chop sequence.
NotStock - your stuff always amazes me, but that shot of the midget in the shop is so over the top cool!
So Mancal - your photos have so much mood and soul! Great work!!
ToddJ - love the angle and lines on those Triumphs!
NateGreco - Sour Apple must be very happy with that very original and creative piece.
    Fortypickup - SWEET!
Lynchmob - perfect timing to get that dynamic action shot

Jigger - love the awesome simplicity and elegant beauty of this one.

    I've been lurking in the FAS for quite a while now finally decided to post something. I'm still more or less a beginner at art so my stuff isn't all that great yet. I've decided to get more serious about developing my basic art skills and develope into an automotive artist. I figured doing sketches is the place to begin.....lots and lots of sketches. Here is my latest;

Spent about an hour on it. It's graphite 6x10 on paper. There are some small perspective issues but overall it's one of my better sketches.

Lockwasher: me and my family just spent the better part of our Friday night looking at all of your creations on Flickr. You are truly an inspiration and just the kind of thing that young boys like mine need. Exposure to that kind of creativity is rare these days, and you could see the gears turning in their heads.
