I've done little but use mine since I last posted - I've been doing a spot of hill climbing.

I'm certainly looking forward to seeing your car in the flesh...outstanding. I've never been to Bright. Mine will be off the road for at least part of this coming summer. Some work to do after 2 years on the road.

Now this car deserves its' own thread - can you post up a 'build' thread? I've got a ton of questions from the front hubs to the - what looks to me - handmade aluminum body and stuff and this isn't the proper place to get into specifics.
    Thanks oj

Here's my "Great Lakes Modified" a little fatter than the typical west coast Lakes Mod. 31 a C-Dan body, scratch build frame, quarter eliptic springs. Just got done assembiling the rollin' chassis. Next to reinstall the drivetrain SBC, Mucie 9 inch.

Man, where have I been I missed about 3 pages of this thread and it's my favorite. XMBIRD that is an amazing little mod, STRIPER too, you guys over there really do some great work. I had lost interest in mine but the timing of this thread coming back up is just right to get me back into it. I thought I wanted the 18" wheels on my mod and once I had 'em on I didn't like it and I guess that got me side tracked. Bought some 16" wheels and just got them powder coated so now I've got to sell some stuff so I can buy some dirt trackers (ouch they've gotten expensive ) Here's some pics. of where it was and where it's going.
