Been thinking up a couple ideas, if anyone's willing to help out here. Body color is black on a '39 Pontiac, and I'm considering painting the lower grille pieces body color, along with the center strip (I don't have one and intend to smooth the hood over) but keep the hood ornament in place. And the center piece that holds the strip vents chromed. Kinda like a negative picture of the car's front. Thanks.

  13. I just use a mouse. Only ever tried a tablet once.

YOu could do that in Photoshop - I only do scallops in Illustrator as you can change the shapes so easily - change it as you go along, and try out different things.

I guess it is just like my school reports said, I could probably do it if I just tried harder.

  18. Mine too!:D

Just keep doing it. Thats about the size of it. You´ll get quicker and it´ll get easier and better.

Oh and look at any of Steve Stanfords work you can find.

    Ok,
I'll try mine. I could use a little encouragement to get back on track with this project. How about a 3-4" chop and medium blue metalic paint.
Oh yea, put the patch panels in the rear quarters while you are at it.
    Thanks,
    Kevin
