Where has the time gone? Another year has gone by and it's already time for anothr HRBBQ. Woo hoo!! I'm quite a bit late to the game this year, so help me spread the word! As usual, Thelma and I will provide the main dish, drinks, music, and our yard. All you have to do is invite your pals, bring a side dish and a lawn chair, and enjoy the day. It's a family affair, so bring the kids too! When: Saturday, August 13 Time: 3:00 PM Rain or Shine What to Bring: Lawn Chair and a Side Dish to Share (bring an old car too if you have one ) Cost: FREE Where: PM me for directions Check out the invite artwork Justin Slingsby did for us!
We are SO there! Bringing the muscle wagon fresh off it's 580 RWHP dyno pull, and a huge batch of Hot Rod Chili (tm). My pal Scott's insane 4x4 will also make a return engagement, along with his signature side dish that shall remain nameless. We're pretty stoked about HRBBQ this year- we missed last year due to a racing commitment (is there any other legit excuse?) and we'll make up for it now. You guys throw a hell of a cool party, and we're proud to be a part of it. Thanks for the invite pal.
Bryan, Yes! Small children are welcome. Wives too! Hope you, the family, and possibly the 57 poncho can make it. Chris
Yay, the Scotts are coming! Looking forward to seeing you guys again. Come early and get a good spot in the yard. Hell, come early so we can go for a ride before everyone starts showing up! Chris

heads up - Remember 494 in Bloomington/Richfield will close Friday at 10pm till Sunday for road work know a good alt. route to the party please share
ZZ - Thanks for the heads up. Tomorrow is the big day! I've got my Poncho ready to go. How about the rest of you?
So from where to where is 494 closed? We will be comming 494 past the airport to 35w from the east. Is it still opened from east of 35w?? Cause I don't know any other ways to go from St Paul area.
It is closed from cedar (77) to 35w. From the east you should be able to get off at the mall of america (24th ave exit) and follow that south. It will turn into old shakopee. Take Olda Shakoppe to Beard Ave and look to your north!
Thanks to all that came out! The weather was a bit sketchy in the morning, but turned out to be beautiful. We had a ton of new cars and faces this year. It sure was nice to meet all of you and I look forward to running into you all again soon. http://s254.photobucket.com/albums/hh105/koachwerks/Hot Rod Barbeque Year 9 - August 13 - 2011/ Chris
