Thank you everyone for all of the kind words and for checking out the shots. I have a ton more that I'm working through. The Friday night drags are the next ones to go up on the site, but before I do that I'll post some of the Friday show coverage here. I'll grab a bite and get on that, I hope to have another update posted by the end of lunch hour but no promises.

    Part 4!

When we last left our exciting adventure that was the 2011 KKOA Leadsled Spectacular it was the end of Thursday evening, check page 1 for coverage of the Bright Built Open House and Thursday night Santa Fe cruise. Our story picks up today at the show Friday morning.

Coolstuff crashed in my spare room and headed out early, I was up a bit later editing some of the Thursday photos so I didn't get around to the show until 8:30. By then Povertyflats, my Dad, Uncle and assorted family friends had to save me a spot because the place was already filling up.

Bob K brought his gorgeous 62 Vette down to the show, 12 hours each way!

My Dad and my nephew Gannon are enjoying the cars rolling by one side of our spot.

Don't forget about the Starliner show in Wichita on Sept. 10, with the Garage Krawl on Sept. 9th!

For some reason most of your pics won't show up on my JJ iPhone app? Sucks I can't see em all.

Glad to finally meet you Roger! I meant to pick up a book from you!

Thanks for the water and the shade! Good to talk to you and it was fun watching your car run down the track!

That's odd, they're all the same link so theoretically if one works they all should, hmmmmmm I don't know whats up with that. If you can click any of the ones that show you can see the full gallery though. It was good to see you again, I want a ride in the Camaro some time!

I did, they are coming in the Saturday coverage, I didn't get over on Friday, just ran out of time jabbering with everyone. I didn't realize that I knew so many people!

    Part 7ish..... Drag Pics!

First let me start by saying there are a ton of Drag pics, I will try to only post some here but all are available for viewing, printing/downloading via the site, yes it does cost money to print or download but it also costs me $1000's a year to go take all of these photos, plus time to edit, a website, etc. etc. Plus it's only a couple of bucks for a download and prints start at only $5.

I started behind the starting line, great shot for burnouts and such but I wanted to get down on the big end so I could get them coming at me, and going by.

You can see how quickly the cars get away from you from this vantage point.

I'm not sure why but this rail never made a full throttle pass, I don't think it ever even took a hard launch???

Love this Falcon Gasser out of the KC area
    [IMG]

Here's GasserLouie running his car down the track, even though he'd already had a breakdown on the way to the show, no trailer, no tow vehicle, aw hell let's just run the car :)

Butch M and his beautiful ride
    [IMG]

The return lanes got a little full
    [IMG]

Now here I should have been at the starting line for the burnouts....

That's it for this update from the drag pics, plenty more to come this evening, time to head back to work now. Thanks to the guys who've bought a couple of shots of their cars, it means a lot to me and every one helps me get to the next show.

    See you at a show,

    Travis

Working on the Saturday show photos now, it takes a bit! Thanks and thanks for checking them out.

They'd be a lot of pics of nothing without kool vehicles like your ride, thanks for coming to Salina and making it even kooler!

Thanks for ordering the print Cos! See ya at Greaserama!

Kick ass! Thanks for the compliments, I was trying to mix it up between the stills and panning them to show the motion.

You're the best, no matter what Paul says... :)
