A Picture of General Motors (Post a Pic)

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Scotch Buzzard King, Jul 21, 2011.

  1. I hear all this talk here lately about how terrible GM is for taking government money, and I can't help but long for the days of Harley Earl. I'm just damned depressed over the whole deal. So I got to thinking about all of the old GM cars and trucks I love so well, and I wanted to know if anybody is with me. If you are with me, post a picture of your (or not yours) GM car, truck, or motor home just as long as it fits in with the time period of the site. I'm going to take it one step further: if your car isn't a GM vehicle but runs a GM engine, POST IT ANYWAY! I'm not prejudiced. :D I'll gladly take transplants. Help me out.

  8. Here's a few I like as well. 59 Buick, Buick Hellcat Tank, and a M24 Cadillac Tank. I really dig the Cadillac tank because it ran off of two 346 flathead Cadillacs. Total BAD ASS!!! I'd like to find a 346 flathead Caddy for my Dodge WC-41 build.

When GM made a truck that did not make you feel like you were sitting in a car.

  20. That '59 Impala boat is sweet! I want one!

  21. Now we see the transplants... Milner's 327 SBC powered 32, The Old Shoebox Fordillac, and a perfect specimen of a Cadillac powered Model A (also a Fordillac).

1964 Pontiac Tempest, six-cylinder 2-speed auto with power steering and an AM radio. A very basic economy car that most folks could afford back in the day. Mom would go grocery shopping and take the kids to school driving one of these handsome little coupes.
