Getting ready for the Benifit car show for Diane Sox at the end of the month in Buffalo. Just got my remake of the Howards Wheels that Ronnie actually ran on the 64 Comet back from the chrome shop. What do you guys think.

choppers;that road race 65 Comet is cool, there is a photo or two on here of it in competition.A guy in Valencia has a 64 that he road races and it is street legal.I like those wheels,I run American TTs on my 65,15X4 in front and custom built 15X12.5 in the rear. ROY.

Ken, your car is now rocking with those rims. I'm pretty sure they were tough to find a set or maybe someone makes them still. either way it looks sharp

Thanks John. I just need to get a Aluminum set made for racing. Actually a fellow Hamber made all the phone calls and leg work done. He had the back set made but then decided to go Magnesium original instead. I bought those and then had the front set made. I'll probably just use them for Sox Car shows and such. The company is Stazworks. I have to say they did a very good job, they are well made.

Heres the link, Mainly a custom 4x4 wheel company but they took on the challange.

Here is a picture of my car. My dad and I finished it up this summer. The transmission blew up on the second pass of the maiden voyage.

    Dad runs a 63 Biscayne.

Sucks for now but, you and your dad will have this great story to share about your Comet someday. Twisted drive shafts make cool wall hangers! Chevy guys take note.:D

Which gave up first, the stock driveshaft or the trans? It looks like you have a good sized slick on there, need a good shaft to hold up to those tires!! ROY.

    Hey guys!

My sister ran across another pic of this Comet.... I still haven't had any luck tracking this thing down.

It was named Benny B-Gone at this point, not Ky Kolonel.
