We just got these today. Now they are mounted, balanced and fitted with old Goodyear Thunder Bolts. 15 x 6 , reverse, 6 lug Chevrolet.

I have been admiring this car from the internet ever since I got interested in Model A's turned hot rod. And I do believe that your's is the best example of both a hot rod and chrome reverses:D

Chromed reversed wheels on the front of a '64 Plymouth. Was originally the Melrose Missile VI with a Hemi, slightly altered wheelbase, aluminum nose, and eventually converted to full funnycar with a 2X3 chassis and seriously setback 426 Hemi. I currently own the chassis that was built under this car in late 1966 or early 1967. The chrome reversed front wheels are long gone :(

I've always liked chrome reverse with spyders but figured the Olds needed something a little smoother . . .

Those wheels are from Rally Wheels and the tires came on a nice originall 55 Chev my dad bought. These are some vintage 4 ply tires, but are in great shape. I will have to keep my eyes on them and don't plan any high speed use. They are Goodyears with the little diamonds all the way around, just like the tires that use to come in the AMT models in the sixties and seventies. Wheelkid on here can fix you up with these wheels.:D Hey 32coupedeville, that five window is just right!

I have been addicted to them for a very long time,.... Back when I was in High School, K-Mart automotive department had them for $7.50 each !

This set has been stacked up in the back of the barn for a looong time,... I am building this chassis for a pal,... so they are temporarily on loan,....

I also had this set of 14' Chrome Reverse laying around,... so they went on this O/T Item,....

  20. Where do you find actual chrome "reverse" wheels? I can't seem to find them for sale anywhere. I would like 15x7 and 15x8 for my Galaxie.

If you are talking about the old tapered hoop type, rallyamerica has those listed.

  24. Such a bitchin picture...

  25. This is just an old picture, but I was pleasantly surprised to find the pair of chrome reverse wheels in the trunk after I drug it home (as well as all 5 Kelsey-Hayes 15" steelies, since it's a hi-po car). I like this look quite a lot:cool:

These rear tires are killer! Does anyone make them? I know Hurst make a radial front runner, but who make one in a 8.20 size?
