    Thanks guys!
I will get some shots of the front soon. I didnt mod the axle to clear the motor, just moved the motor up about an inch and made it to bottom out just before the pulley touches the axle. That leaves a 4" body drop to do. Yes i will have to build new fender wells when its body dropped and cut into the door about 2". Still need to figure out a sway bar and get shocks on it as well. Going to have to run a 185/60/15 or 185/70/14 on the front to minimize the height of the fender well.

Got a 64 A100 PU. Daily driver. 170 /6, auto. Body is perfect. Not a dent anywhere. I love it. Was a Navy shore patrol truck in S.D., Cali.

Oh the drive line was a hell of a job! Had to machine a new yolk to adapt to a CV joint with a slip joint!

Nice Vans!! Can I use normal Mopar wheels, or do I need the ones with the smaller bolt-patern like the A-body's?

    Maybe in the future..
    Thanks ;-)

Just found this thread/A100 group. I have a 66 A100 Pickup with Cadillac Eldorado 500/drivetrain between the rear tubs, flat floor where the 6 cyl was. A friend built it and yes it's light in the front. So far doesn't lift the wheels but gets on tip toes. A HOOT to drive.

Finally got some pics of the front end done...just no shocks yet. Pulled it in today and started cutting the floor out. Will be body dropped 4" in a couple days.

Hey y'all. I just joined the group. I've had my A100 for years and have slowly transformed it into a fantastic road trip machine. It's been in Hot Rod a few times, just little pics they took of it on the Power Tour. It has a 340 V8, Halibrands, sidepipes and lots of love.

Here's a pic of my van and my '64 D100 in front of Jimmy Carter's family story in Plains GA from Oct 2011 Hot Rod Mag http://flic.kr/p/ajKZig

Here is a picture of me coming down the return road at a race a Bradenton late in the afternoon. My wife took the picture and my daughter cleaned the background up.

Cleaned it up a little, and threw some wheels on it.

"Dodgorado" -has 70 Cad Eldo drive train, engine is a 76 500, mostly stock. A friend built it, I replaced the 70 engine. Can be a handful but is a blast to drive. Plan to do a couple runs at the drag strip to see what it will do.

Bought my first A108 today 318/727. Sat since '84 in a field. Started within 20 minutes of wrenching! Moved under it's own power within an hour!

Body is ok - Needs rockers - anyone found a source, or am I making them?

  29. NICE, but does it stop, too? I have not found any place for rockers. I would scrounge craigslist in the south west.

Try Autobody Specialties. I have a part list for them somewhere.
