    5 window but I like model A's

  6. OK J.B. I'll bite.

I personally prefer the look of a properly built five window. I like them both ways with or without fenders. Mild channel so you can still see the reveal on the chassis and chopped or not. No major chassis drop, all done with suspension and drivable.

Oh I cannot give you a single reason whay I prefer the 5 window I just do.

3 for sure. like 5's alright but only seen a few real 3's in person. it's not just looks, i'm not a little fellow and getting in the 3 window is an easier proposition.

  9. If i am getting it for free why do i have to pay $1,000,000 for a question?

    I would take a 5 window.

For 1932 i like the 5 window better without question. Fast forward one year and I like the 3 window better.

  11. never driven either .......but if the 5 window can make for putting the seat back further for some needed leg room Ill go that way

5 window. Mine would be very much like the Busby 5W coupe pictured on the front page of this article.

One of the first reasons I began preferring them over the 3W is the decades of fiberglass, monochromatic easter egg 3W street rods.....

I like the design style of the 5 window-but then I prefer Model A's as a hot rod. I once asked a popular 'glas manufacturer why they made 3 windows, but not fives and he said the average American was too fat to comfortably get into the more narrow door of the 5, so the 3's sold better.

Sad commentary, but probably needs to be taken into consideration in this poll.

  16. A few years ago, if you would have asked me the question, I would have said 3-window, hands down. Nowadays, I am really warming up to the 5-windows. Love both types, and it all depends on what the style of the car is. For a traditional car, I like the 5-window. For a street rod, I like the 3-window.

Ditto. A well chopped, full fendered '32 five window is hard to beat. On the other hand, a chopped fenderless '33 three window would have a running chance.

    Three-window, no question. Geez!

  22. I've always been partial to the 5 window, but if someone is going to give me one, I won't complain about either.
