I wish I could keep it too The really sad part about the whole story is the market is so flooded with cars its not going to bring as much as its worth Im afraid. What do you guy's feel a good asking price would be?
Very nice car, and a real tribute to your dad! I think he'd understand selling it, and I think he'd look at what you build with YOUR son as just as much a tribute to what you guys had.
1) highlight everything after the = in the YouTube URL and copy. 2) click on the last button of the toolbar (YT)(YT) and paste the short URL in there, 3) preview post to make sure it works.
If that dosen't make you teary eyed, you should probably check your pulse, cause you're probably dead! Beautyfull Bro.
great car and Im sorry for your loss. I lost my dad 3 years ago too. I know the feeling. he left me a 1977 shovelhead and the mear begginings of a 32 ford to build together. ill build it for him as the last father son project soon. I hope you find peace. great job on the car
You Dad is up there looking down and telling all his family and friends up there: "THAT's MY BOY"........"YOU DID GOOD SON"..... Thanks for sharing with all of us....
My Dad came home one day in 1968 set a 56 chevy in the drive way with a busted A arm looked at me and said its your son wow ! My uncle owned a wrecking yard so life was good for us boys of them years. that car saw lots of motors inclueding a Hemi ! I lost Dad in 1979 and I still miss him to this day he would love his grand kids and great grand kids.
You touched me, and not in a gay way. My Father has lung cancer and I have been spending every moment with him. Hell, I even wheeled him around Columbus today. Very sorry for you're loss!!
Wow, that struck a nerve. Thank you soooo much for sharing your tribute to your Father with us. I lost mine over 15 years ago and I think of him everyday. Everytime I work on, drive or just look at one of my cars I hope that he knows that I will always love him for being the best Father that I could have ever asked for. He's the one that got me into traditional cars and building. I can't thank him enough. It's tough to lose someone close to you but he will always be there guiding you in the right direction. This direction being the correct one for you at this time. Great job and good luck. BloodyKnuckles
From your words and the build, it's kind of obvious that he may not be here, but is by no means gone. Nice car, nicer tribute!
Bravo man... The goal of every parent is to produce an upgrade. Pops is still here - in you. What resulted in you clearly forged a deep, disciplined, and appreciative mind. Keep producing, and carry you and your Pop's honor forward. It's our pleasure to see you here.
Thanks! I love that song, Im a big fan of Neils old stuff especially his acoustic stuff from the era.
Beautifully written. Every word serves it's purpose perfectly. Your Dad knows when you're think of him and it makes him smile. Thank you for posting this thread. It gives most all of us food for thought.
