Traded for this today..53 buick 2 door hardtop

    Going to paint the wheels orange with some spider caps and thats it...has a 350 with a 400 automatic trans. Channeled 7 inches on a delta 88 frame. all glass is good and windows roll up and down easily...power steering and brakes,aluminum radiator,painless wiring and all the lights turn signals brake lights work.Has 1969 caddy tailights flipped upside down....runs and drive SWEET.

    Traded a 50 chevrolet pickup with a 350 on an s-10 frame....

    Awesome!
    I've been wanting one of those myself.
    Not sure about some of the custom work that was done, but it might be able to grow on a guy.
    Either way, cool car.
    Now get a Buick engine in it!
    425 would be my first choice, 350 or 455 would be a fine choice also.

    looks good. i would fix the rear wheel opening and take off all the bullet flare pieces. thats me. on the left coast a lot of use like custom with a lot less flare. less is more as they say. im not digging the tail lights. that just me. to big of a year gap. at least if you change it will be an easy fix. other then my nit picking. drive it and have fun.

    I like it but I'm a bit partial on this style Buick, since I have one. Good trade,lots of potential.

    The bullet stuff is for sure leaving and I will also have to get used to the rear fins.....it is different with lots of possibilties...

    I chased one of those for years and was a day late and a dollar short when the owner finally sold it. Nice trade and that should be a great cruiser.

    Might hang onto them in case I use them on the back wheels with some chrome lugnuts...still messing around with different types of hubcaps and pondering on what color to paint the wheels.....any photoshoppers on here wanna doctor the ole car up!!!

    I clearly remember my Dad driving out of the Norwalk, Ct. Buick dealership in a twin to that car, still have the bill of sale, I was 2 years old, it's my earliest automobile memory.

    nice,not digging the tail lights but hey everyone has their opinion.goin to be a sweet ride i would think about heavy metal flake on the roof and wheels same colour

    Pretty cool ole ride,I have seen it around,and saw it at last months somernites cruise in somerset.
    If it were mine,I would consider some skirts, original factory wheel openings in the front fenders and paint..................oh,and did I mention skirts(even if you hafta make them);)

    Nice trade. Any Buick is Special or Super. Any Kustom Buick is Special, Super and in a nitch all its own. My Buick will no longer be seen around the South West. WE will be moving to North East Tenn. in a few days. Long story. Look forward to meet newing Buick and Kustom people.

    More defined, we will be in Church Hill Tn. Just out side of Kingsport, tri city area. Hope to make the K Mart Friday night on the 23 rd. in Kingsport and then Elibethton on Sat. 24. th, if things go wright.

    Sweet Ride!! not sure I would keep those taillights & Buick should have a nailhead for my taste but the car was a good trade!!

    Sweet looking Buick I currently live in Rogersville,TN will be relocating to neighboring Surgoinsville later this Summer,Surgoinsville has a small cruise-in on the first Fridays of the month and Rogersville has one on the second Friday ,hopefully will get a chance to see your 53 soon.
