  4. haha thanks Tom, but there are a lot of guys out here who build nice stuff! stop down anytime and check it out, you're always welcome!

thanks, and yeah, i dabbled with minitrucks for a bit. this is actually the first project i have used a tubing bender on. the wishbone and a couple tubes where the bags mount are .250 wall DOM. bent a couple pins on my JD2 bender. gonna have to get those replaced.

im not sure if i like the upper shockmounts yet.

    is lookin sick man!!!!!!!!!!!

  9. thanks, and no, it shouldnt because the upper link acts like two triangulated links, this design is very similar to what chevy did in 58.

i pinched the lower links just to add even more triangulation just to be safe. thanks for checkin it out.

I did notice the lower arms were triangulated. The way you have set up the top link to pivot on three pionts should work well, i just thought i'd ask. Realy cool idea with that top link going over to the rear of the diff center.

  11. thanks, i was hoping to keep everything set rather low, and set the pivot points back as much as possible to help keep the rear seat as much as i can.

i set the frame at ride height and determined my instant center and recorded the pivot points i would need to make this all happen, then i raised the rear end to where it would sit when completely layed out and started making the links so they would clear. i ordered a driveshaft yesterday, so hopefully soon we will see if this setup works and what pinion angle change i will have to deal with!

    thanks again.
