History Oldsmobile race cars

Here's my '50 I used to have a play with & my '46 tow car.

 

Thanks vistacruiser67 for all the great photos and also for bringing back so many wonderful memories from the good old days of drag racing.

I never knew that Doc Burgess drove drag raced an Old's at one time.

The Black Arrow car was famous and a very popular car for years around the north east.

 

Who said Olds never built a truck?

Great thread I love Olds I'v only owned 1 but hopefully more will follow. Shame the brand got killed off

 

My old 64 F85 drag car when I owned it:


New owner cleaned it up, repainted it and installed a straight axle:

 

Dig those tow bar tabs, put a set on my car two weeks ago and i've had a few people ask what the h... are those? Young guys think there ugly, me? I grew up with them.

1968 Oldsmobile 350 Ram Rod (W-31) on the lift at Baldwin Motion Performance or maybe Mack Markowitz Oldsmobile on Long Island New York.

 

I really doubt it seriously since he built a Badass Tribute car aptly named White Power as well.
