    stylish, minimal, just right.

    Is it just me or are 40's really fussy and cluttered looking at the front compared to this pure 39 design?

    lowsquire ... it's not just you. I'd take a '39 over a '40 too. Simple grille and I think the '39 headlights are much nicer (flow/blend with the fender).
