From the Long Beach Swap Meet today. not sure if these are actually deals but they were cool none the less...
This weekend I bought a '32 ford steering box, column and unidentified 50's steering wheel at the San Francisco swap for $30. I think I did alright!
Seriously....seems like the guy would have painted the headlights too if he could have...it's awkwardly good looking regardless and I too think that the headlights are kool...web like
the 'finish the whole car then paint everything' approach is certainly suspect, but the car seemed reasonably well done mechanically, had a fresh leak free motor, is a real body, and has an undeniably likeable stance. + I think that for under 10G's done, driving, and currently reg'd as a T it just seemed like a deal for a guy that wants a real car with a 'traditional' style (SBC notwithsatnding...) on a budget And although the front brake lines are a tad long..... the frame is super narrow and the lines were new teflon ss braided hose - which is quality stuff. Can anyone think of any way to make them shorter?
It's low, it's a roadster, it has bias plys, and lakster headers....what more do you need. It's like a model car that comes all painted the same...it's a damn fine starter.
