"16% nitro, mineshaft air conditions, and 39 psi boost. Removing the cam up through the lifter valley instead of the front of the block.... priceless"

    98% in the tank, AA/FA.
Aren't those blowers supposed to bolted to the manifold?

looks like 39 psi boost took advantage of a crank and/or block problem. 16% definitely isnt the cause of that carnage :)

    what did the autopsy reveal?

  7. Nope that's what those straps are for. :D

  8. Damn, i thought my carnage pictures were nasty. You guys make mine look good! haha

Yes they are. The straps keep the blower and injector from flying up in the air when there is an explosion!!!!!!!!!!

  21. Gary, I know that you know this, but some of the others might not. The studs are aluminum so they break and this DOES happen, if they didn't, the carnage would be a LOT worse and MUCH more expensive. TR

I didn't sell them, gave them away. First pass on the rods. Indy Goodguy's, 2009.

Here is some schrapnel from a top fuel Keith Black hemi engine that came apart on a run circa 1991. These came from the "Madness" top fuel hydro that ran in the IHBA and was driven by the late Ron Braaksma. Nice little souvenirs from a race at Firebird Lake. :D

I'm surprised the Magic Muffler Fiat hasn't shown up yet. But here's my contribution.
