Two 1937 Hudson Terraplane Grilles! And a 1955 Harley Sportster Tank late 60's paint job! I'm affraid to say what i paid for these Grilles some might be jealous Let's say both under $200
Clean up the tank as much as you can and shoot some clear over it- that's history, right there. Those grilles are a nice score too!
I love the tank! it's sweet it shows some of the early paint designs! Need to get a cap and hang it up! I will fix and straighten the black grill also and sell it for the right price...!
NIce grille (w/o lights)...make a good one by putting the headlights on the good one. SAVE the grille and trim fasteners off the beat-to-hell grille, as they are nearly impossible to get!!! Good score, considering a '37 TP grille goes for up to ten times what you paid for that whole group of parts. I have a very nice '37 TP grille, myself.
I have no clue what it's worth! lol I bought it cause it was badass lol I'd kind of want to keep it for now but who knows down the road... Need to find a cap for it and clear coat it to make it pop again!
That tank is known as a turtle tank, at least here in central Cal. There kinda rare, not as many made as the 2.2 gal tank. I had one on a 71 XLH that I owned at one time.
This one is for sure a 55 harley. This guy had plenty of bikes back in the day my dad bought his first bike from him an old flathead harley a 90? i think. He had BSA's ,Triumph's, Harley's, Indians, and even an old Henderson. his dad owned the Cycle shop in Rising City not sure if it was a Harley or Indian shop... but his dad gave his old indian four cylinder to his brother; and i believe the Henderson also.
