    Thanks guys!

I'm using an aircraft sealer that we actually stock here at work called "Flamemaster Chemseal". It's intended purpose is for wing tanks, but can also be used for sealing about anything. And if any of it squishes through, I can paint over it without worrying. NASTY stuff though! Think of grey, extra sticky peanut butter! Great stuff! :D

    Great progress...

Yep! Gonna' paint them black, though. The same color as the tank mounts. Or maybe I'll smooth them out and chrome them later. Not sure.... I don't like how they look right now, that's for sure. But they work PERFECT.

Scooter, glad to see you are making progress. I have been out of the loop, had to go to work for somebody else. Kinda sucks having been on my own for 15 years. Had to put mine on the back burner. I try to keep tabs as much as I can. Hardly any time to check the HAMB like I used to.

Keep it up you'll get her done, probably sooner than you think.

Thanks guys! I appreciate the comments!

Made a little more progress this weekend... I am even MORE excited about how this is turning out. I also have to say, this has to be one of the most tedious things I have ever constructed! Didn't help that I'm officially down two angle grinders... One electric and one pneumatic. GAH! Have to replace them this week...

Riveted into the outer sealing structure...

Skin partially cleco'd into place (about 375 more holes and clecos to go! HAHA!)

What she looks like from the inside, now...

    Thanks guys!! Seriously appreciated!

Just hope I can get this things wrapped up soon! This weekend I'll be working making sure the skin is sitting correctly on the structure and work on finishing up the edges of the panel itself. Then I have to machine some clamps and latches for it. THEN I can move on to the rest of the body work so I can get started prep for paint. I would REALLY like to try and get started on paint later next month or beginning of August. Going to take a HUGE effort to make it, though. The list is still insane...

    Scott,

It was good meeting you at breakfast this morning and chatting a bit. This sedan build of yours is absolutely incredible. I just went over the last 45 pages in one sitting and was super impressed with every update. You are one hell of a tallented guy! The roof support structure is effing killer! I can't wait to see this car in person some day.

More roof progress... The panel is sitting 95% correct. Just a little bit more tweaking and I need to finish off the edges yet so the roof seals properly on the edges as well as letting the structure sit down in the interior seals. It's DAMN close, though. Once the clamps and latches are in place it will pull it down tight...

    Got Clecos?
