I know all too well about being low. Just ask Flattrap. My 54 chev 4dr in highschool was soo low it would shave the reflecters off the pavement if I didnt change lanes just right. Mind you this was were it rode. No air or anything to raise it. My 60 biscayne was the same way. 3/4 of ground clearence and no adjustment. Drove the shit out of that car. Flatraps hardtop was the same way in school. So when ya think you have the balls to ride around less than an inch of the ground and no way of raising it. Then we can talk about too low.
Berky's car is very nice. Not knockin at all. Just statin my opinion on stance. Remember..... Opinions are like butt holes, evryone has one and they all stink. :D

And yes I am old so....

    Rod, you're so modest!

Oh man, out it's "arse" could be the ONLY place that my Chevy is classy.

Here's another vintage pic of class.....

Lucky444, do you know what those headlight rings are???????

they kinda remind me of 55 olds but they look 4" deep?

maybe they are just tunnled and the insides are not 1 piece...

hmm that gives me an idea:)

oh and you dudes are crazy, that 57 is by no means gaudy, I think it is a fine example of a 58-60 era kustom.

the Aztec, thats gaudy, little deuce coupe, thats gaudy too. a black 57 h/t with bubble skirts and chrome reverse steelies? not to me at least, I dont recall seeing any turd in a punch bowl modifications...

Here's another mild Olds Coupe that I always thought has just the right amount of "Kustom".

im 44 and over the years i have compeletly scraped the front crossmember out of three vehicles. i lowered one olds 13 inches one time. it wasnt very classy but i drove it for a little over two years before catastrophic failure. lol!
like i said before. i like low.
oh yeah, here are a couple of cars i think fit the classy bill. sorry about the low quality pics.

That's the poster child for mild n classy.

Anyone have info on this car? I pulled the pic from another thread here on the HAMB. I think the stance has so much to do with the attitude this Kustom projects. That and just the right amount of chrome against the black. All I can see done to it is shaved handles, frenched headlights and a peaked hood!

ahah, i was just kiddin. kinda, im all for air and juice, but i can see the beauty of static drops too.
btw, i know what its like to drive non adjustable lowered cars, its plannin a route w/out giant speed bumps, avoidin most underground parkings, be careful when you enter gateways (w/ door "posts" on the ground), inability to get to some mall parking lots w/ huge steps in the entrance lane and on and on, w/out considering the fact that to change the wheels i needed 2 jacks!
Its all kool, but cant beat the solution at a touch of a switch, plus i like the fact that i can drive nose up ass down one day and ass up nose down the other, ahah...
    Its all kool

Thanx Karrera, i find it beautiful.

Thanks for giving a name to that green Olds. I had seen a couple of pics of this car somewhere...maybe Kustoms Illustrated and was wondering who it belonged to. You say one of his "old rides", so does that mean this car is sold off? Any idea where it went to? Here's another photo of it.

Nice Olds. Anyone recognize the plaque? Seems like it reads Heads...I guess that would be a start finding out what club it belonged too

attitudor, how much is that chopped?

looks like you probably took about 2.5" out of the A pillar to give it about a 3.250 drop?

my chop is mild but yours is perfect.

    just the right amount.

aslo what rear window did you use?

engine trans? details bro, I need details!!!
