Yep, kind of sickness. I always dug them. Especially the tractor treaded ones. I'm kind of hillbilly.

When I was an adolescent, in the '50's, the father of a girl I went to school with made fairly large scale models of sprint cars, or whatever they were called then, and used the tires from the ashtrays for his models. I always thought that was pretty cool.........

I remember those! My Grandpa always had a couple at his house. Does anyone still make them?

Had some over the years. One that I had never seen before was the hard rubber, solid truck tire.

  16. Know a few that do. I used to collect cigarettes, 'till they started collecting me.

I got this one at a swap meet last year. Always remembered the one my grandfather used to have. Goodyear Allweather 'Super Cushion' 6.70 x 15.

They seem to go for about $15 around here, but i can't speak as to their rarity or true value. What makes on hotter than another?

  21. I have a Firestone deluxe Champion bias ply one, good tread too .......did they make WW ones? I'd love one of those.
