I have called mine "the Gray Ghost" because the paint is military aircraft light ghost gray. Makes me invisable to radar, right? I usually just call it the gray truck, as opposed to the blue truck (my '49 Chevy) or the white truck (my late model).

  8. start with the oldest and work up. my baby a 1950 coronet, her name is Netty, then there's my 55 bread truck, his name is soul hog, cause he sucked all the friggen life out of us getting him home. then there's the 1981 honda ATC250r 2 stroke 3 wheeler, lovingly named deathrocket...... i know the last one doesn't really fit in here, but it never gets any love.

My '48 Ford seen in my avatar is named "Bondorella" because the truck had so much bondo on her when I got her, and now that I've ground it all off, she's risen from the bondo dust like a princess (ala Cinderella). Yeah... it's girlie, I know, but I'm a girl.

Only race cars and show cars should have names.

This thread is officially named "STUPID".

This is "Beetle Bomb." It is a 1939 GMC fire engine with a 46 hp inline six. It is so slow my grandson can out run it on foot for the first quarter mile on level ground.

Then of course there's my dearly beloveds new car, put together by yours truly....it has ended up being 'Big Red" ...........not least of all because my wife who was blonde back in the day has chosen to be a redhead for the last 20+ years.. and good on her. She can be firey like a real red head but she loves me and that is all that counts.:D

due to the cars being o/t no pix but here are a couple that are named.

lol. my 87 camaro got painted "black cherry pearl" and being that car was always giving me hell my younger siblings started calling it "the curse of the black cherry pearl" due to the jack sparrow movies.

my 97 camaro is called "breeple" due to its color changing color. that has blue, green and purple in it. my best friends 3 year old daughter named that car.

then there is that thing parked outside of my parents house (by thing i mean ford windstar ) its green, fast and pickle shaped so its called the "flying pickle"

My '64 <--- doesn't know if her name was B*tch or Baby... One would usually follow
the other, depending on where she left me broke down at. I also had a '66 4 door
Impala once that my wife named Bill.
