That little belly tank pit cruiser has a air-cooled bike engine, belt drive and electric fan cooled....very primitive and practical. The only thing left that he is going to do it put a name on it..."Boots"....which is the owners nickname

  9. JimSig(in push truck) an I(pushing Stan Back) were saying how we'd like to of met you. When I seen these pics, I had to laugh. So close, didn't even know it..

Once unloaded at home and tired of pushing, we talked him into driving it to the garage!

Anytime I see a picture thread with your name tied to it, I know it's going to be great, and I was right again! Thanks Doug, this is the next best thing to being there.

My son got his rookie license on Sat, (I wish my dad put me out there when I was 18, I had to wait 45yrs!) Sat the weather was near perfect but Sun (today) sucked, it got REAL windy and after a 3 hour delay we left although we did get one run in this morn.
Usually the night life at ElMo is pretty timid, this weekend there were some wanna-be pirates who converted their motorhome and VW into pirate ships??
It was quite entertaining to say the least!
heres a couple pics of mine.
My son, Austin getting some last minute do's and dont's by the starter before his maiden voyage.

I love this pic of him

Both Fri and Sat night once the sun went down the pirates came out, Watching these guys parade around AAAALLLLLL night was the most fun I've had in a long time. They had cannons, Flame throwers, lasers and a boat load of drunks!

I just realized I didnt take any pics of cars? Just my kid, bikes and pirate ships

  26. Thank you so much for helping to bring the event to those us who couldn't make it out there. I was able to go back in '98 and have missed it ever since.

I got shot at by there damn canon when I pulled up to there camp. Must of been the head lamps that pissed them off on that lil red whatever thing Mazooma cought me riding around on. Had glowing embers showering me. So I screamed Oh Shit . I lived to talk about it, cuz DEAD MEN TELL NO TALES :D.

My wife and I were watching Pirates of the Carribean Friday night when they came "sailing" by. For a second I thought our tv suddenly became 3D. Glad your son got his rookie runs out of the way Lance. Now he has to get serious! We had fuel pressure problems. But thats OK. A bad day at El Mirage beats a good day fishing anytime. Great photos Mazooma.
