Dude, I've been dreaming about this car after hearing it. I'm in love....

Looks and sound like a healthy engine for sure and the specs speak for themselves. I even like the fact that it has a single carb intake on it. I suppose why you chose to go with single Holly 94 rather then a 97 is because it gives you a few more CFM where it's needed?

On mine I wanted to run a Weiand High Rise 2x2 but the idea of a home made slingshot sounds pretty cool (and much cheaper) especially since I am not running finned heads but instead going to run Weiand Cheater heads I have hanging on the wall. Still all up for debate though since my '33 is just sitting there waiting it's turn.

thanks JJ, your apreciation means alot as i know you have the same love for traditional hotrods as i do,,,,

but i wish i could say i thought it out as much as you thought i did,,but it wasnt really that technical for me,
...a buddie of mine had the rebuilt cammed flattie,he decided to sell at the same time i started to piece this project togehter,, i wanted it really bad ,and had to pay for it$$$...from the get go i knew i wanted a pure late 40's early 50's hot rod look like you'd see on the streets and not necesarily in the magazines/racetrack,but wanted it to sound mean at the same time,,,kinda like if I was alive back then and built a hotrod.,so in a way to me a aluminum intake/heads were outta the question for the look i wanted so stuck with the stock heads/intake and stock(but rebuilt 94). :D

again ,cant say it enough,,thank you everybody for all your kind words..!

I was going to sleep last night and it hit me why I liked your car so much apart from the obvious reasons. Your car has the same simple stripped down look that Ryan's has. And there are definitely a lot of similarities which is cool to compare an contrast the two cars that are very much alike but still very different.

So I had 10 minutes this morning to do a side by side.
