just picked this one up saturday, i've been driving it around the neighborhood and working the bugs out of it for a couple days, and it seems to be in great shape. just needs some wiring work, a little body work, paint, and a custom interior. its got a 235 with 3 on the tree. before i bought the car i thought i would want to change it out for an automatic 4 speed overdrive, but i think i'll keep the 3 on the tree for now, its pretty fun.

and yes i am well aware that it is a 4 door, i bought it mainly because of that...

Four doors, cylinders all in a row ....
    Sounds perfect to me!
Column shifts are fun too. It's a gas watching most folks tryin' to figure out what the hell you're doing!
(George, is that man in that old car having some kind of fit ...???)

A car like that with no major rust in Mass. is a nice find. Good for you. What's her history?

as far as i know it had been in the same family since the 70's, and kept in storage for quite some time, the owners son got it running again and did the brakes, and stuffed it behind his dealership, it sat for a year or two, and thats where i found it.

You can have an awful lot of fun with a car like that. Funny how they look without all the chrome.

The 3-on-the-tree is also a great anti-theft device these days!
