http://ontario.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-classic-cars-32-ford-stored-over-10yrs-W0QQAdIdZ277006345 Definitely priced too low so I would think its a scam.
grille too short....looks like toilet seat. Least you can do is go look at it. Roof/windwhield look like maybe something is 'tweaked' a bit....not very level with other parts. Could be a scam, but as long as you go there with your own best interests in mind...couldn't hurt to check it out. Could be the seller just isn't a car person. dj
Looks priced right to me....given the fact it is going to cost you another 10 grand to get those flames off of it!
Funny I thought the exact same thing. But if it is a steel body...... Years ago I bought a Model A from Disney, X parade car. Turns out Barry White built it 20 or so years prior. He bought it back! Can't hurt to go look at it.
I actually have talked to the seller, He offered the car on a trade for my 50 ford and our communication was so slow that the trade eventually fell through when I got a cash offer. He seemed ok I just decided to take the bird in hand than the two that may or may not be in ontario, for the record I dont think its a scam
It has a lot of problems, and pictures hide a lot. Basically you're buying a body to start with and various assorted parts. Price seems fair to me.Looks like some tard used barn door hinges or something and made the doors open the wrong way
If it was of the ones that they used to use at Disneyland, my brother in law used to refurbish and repaint them every couple of years. He worked in a very small shop in Orange with Roy Schmidt who later gained fame on Boyd's show - the older guy who used to fall asleep.
This right here was mine, pretty much as you see it. I pulled the rear fenders off, and painted it all orange, removed all the electronics and crap. It was a Polyform body, decent little hot rod.
---------------------- Heck, the only thing wrong with those flames is that they aren't real!!! Mart3406 ========================
What if it is actually a 1932 Ford steel body? While all the talkers, talk, some one who knows what they are doing will step in and get a bargain. If it was any where near me, I would sure be looking. I could tell in two minutes whether it was a deal.
Phone # in the ad is a typo...says area code is 706, should be 705.... I 411d the # and it comes up good...... John ****** (705) 887-1234 RR1 Fenelon Falls, ON L1C1R1
Looks like a car that might have some interesting history, or could just be a really messed up 60's/70's era pipe dream. Would be great to look at it in person. I would sure check it out if it were near me.
Isn't Too Bad !!!! I dont think it is a scam because it is a TURD, it is about 2 hours away and I would'nt waste my time even if it was a steel body. You can buy a Brookville for the same money with out the obvious head aches that this thing has???
looks pretty boogered up to me. not a true roadster. might even be overpriced at $11,000. no telling what the frame is or how it was put together. might tear into it and find all you have is a junk yard motor and a pair of 32 rear quarters someone might need.
