Dave Stuckey's 40 Ford coupe

This is Texas Street Rod’s of Big Spring,Tx next project a 1940 Ford Coupe built by Dave Stuckey. We will be painting it red/orange like it was when it was feature in Hot Rod Magazine back in Dec. 1963

 

That car is awesome....I love it!

 

Anybody have scans of the '63 Hot Rod feature?

 

is that the same Dave Stuckey from Lil coffin fame?

Removing all the paint, there are about 7 coats. All the custom work is done in lead and still in great shape.

Didn't like it back then, don't care for it now either. But I recognize that it represents a lot of hard work so my hat's off to you on the recent repaint.
