Dad's 56 Bel-Air sports coupe done 3 days after he bought it new in Oklahoma city by a kid that worked for him. sorry about the picture qty its from 1959...

by the way if anybody that was around in Oklahoma city from 59 to mid 60's remembers this car or knows what happened to it let me know. Dad and I looked for it for years. We never did find out what happened to it after his buddy Jerry bought it...
    thanks,

I apologize if this isn't HAMB friendly...but, it was asked to post a picture of scallop work I did. Here's my first car I began when I was 15:

Final rendering of what it will look like soon (but a more finished roof with either lace or more scallop and panel painting work):

My '57 Bel Air was scalloped in 1991
    by Michigan's own Paul Hatton

A couple more of Paul Hatton's scallop
    jobs .
    Dick bailey's 50 Merc (Bailey's Dreamboat)
    Dick Rothfuss 59 Chevy (poopsie)
Sy Gregorich's famous "Victorian" built by
The Alexander Brothers, all still looking good
    to this day.

Not the best picture, but here's one of the first scallop jobs I ever saw. Owner was Joe Lorini of Mattydale, NY. Car purchased new by Joe when he was 17, sent right to Lenny Smith for body and paint work. Color was dark purple with metallic rose scallops, outlined with white. Two-door Bel Air post, stock 265 V8 with 3 speed column. Photographed in 1959 by Dennis Friga.

Here's some from my old mag covers. I added the scallops to the first pic during algebra class in highschool!

Here are some pics of 61 Impala I built in the 90's.
This was before Bubble Tops were popular. Now the 61's are done as resto mods. They are nice but not my style

Wow, my Dad is a huge fan of the early '60s Chevys that are fixed up in this style. That looks very nice, you did an excellent job.
