Great start on a truly nice ride. Love the stances, wheels look nice. I just finished my little 30 coupe.Couldn't bare to cut it, but like the looks of the finished look of cutting about 4 inches off the top.Enjoying driving mine around town and getting alot of thumbs up and waving. How much is the frame z'd in the back.Getting ready to build another car , 1931 Ford roadster and not sure yet about how I want to do the frame.Keep the photos coming on the progress of your rod.

OK, finally time for a little update......

First thanks for the well wishes on my new member of the family, she's awesome.

Between having a newborn and one of, if not the worst summer Kentucky has seen(I grow grass for a living  ) I haven't had a lot of time to get in the garage, but the past few weeks have spared me a little time.

    PICS:
Got all the suspension pieces and parts painted and the chassis back together:

Some more patch work on the chop/patch panels:

Body back on the frame, got a decklid on it, etc.:

I don't have much to update as I haven't got a lot done, but I did get the dash insert installed today. This is a Muroc Auburn style from Knect equipment. He's a super nice guy and this panel is very nice with nice hardware and instructions...anyhow enough with that here's the pics:

Nick...how did you get yours to sit so low..? Did you have to cut into the rear wheel wells..?I dont have mine that low and the axle is hitting the inner fender and wont allow it to go any lower.....LOOKS killer...!! Uh..we going to make the LSRU next year.?!?!?

    Thanks man,

I had to cut the wheel wells, I still haven't put them back in, buts thats the only way its coming down if its channeled.

The LSRU, happens at kinda a bad time of year for me, but I plan to make it one of these days....

    UPDATE is on the way!

Ok, I've been busting balls on this thing the past couple weeks:

I have it running, driving and stopping:D

Still have a long way to go on the body, but driving it around the block will sure fire up some inspiration to get to work!

Here's a short video of it idling:

No intention of hijacking your thread but can you give me a measurement that I posted in the pic...( From the back of the front cross member to where the front of the motor mount would be...) Eric wont answer me at all so I am left wondering.I need to get the motor mounts welded in so I can finish the front end...Thanks man..
