Hi -- My buddy Troy Ray's race car trailer got broken into sometime over Easter (we think) and a bunch of our Nostalgia Funny Car parts were stolen. We're trying to get word out, I hope this is OK to post here on The HAMB. They got two (Mallory) magnetos, two (Enderle) fuel pumps, KB race block, two sets of new rods, three sets of pistons, a Casale gear drive, three jugs of nitro, Troy's -20 Fire Suit, an RCD funny car (blower) starter & battery pack, etc. along with a bunch of tools. Could you guys keep an eye out for this stuff, and help spread the word? I know we have a fair number of Eastern Tennessean's here. That stuff is all very specific to a few cars, it looks like a shopping list for a half finished car..... think about who has been asking heaps of questions and hasn't got the money to get their car going..... Someone his size too.......unless of course it's someone who doesn't want him racing this month!! Presumably they were Hemi parts from his Charger ? What brand of Rods and Pistons? What model Mags?
Any news Al? Most of ur run of the mill Meth head thiefs wouldnt even know what those Mags were let alone the starter and battery pack. Hate to say it but if ya catch em, bet ya know em....... pretty sure you can kill in Tennessee if the theft is over $500 ..... or something like that =)
