I reckon he's had that many 'encounters' with rego over the years they probably lock the place when they see him coming and slide the plates under the door...

He is a crafty man though and I'm sure its all above board. I think the 55 was rego'ed as a tractor or something?

  3. Surprisingly it was registered as a car, Rod worked with vicroads to make sure it was completely legal. It was so well engineered it would be hard to knock back.

btw thanks for the pics & if anyone has anymore pics of the brown metallic flathead '32 roadster with DuVall windshield please post.

I suppose as long as you got fenders you can run with no front brakes, makes sense to me.

  5. How about we see some more pics and forget about the shit fight over rego?

  8. thanks binga for bringin us back on topic. that 32 tow truck is a local warrnambool car, the owners a very clever bloke. he made the original stamping dies for waddingtons and got payed a shit ton of money for it but now he just runs a small wrought iron business in town.

A friends Willys down in the weeds. He and a few other Queensland made the 3.5K round trip from Brisbane. That sleeper supposedly has a 900hp BBC under the hood. It would definitely fry the hides of those razor blades currently on it.

I couldn't agree anymore some people forget that we as hot rodders are only a minority, and we dont really need to bring the wrong kind of attention to our hobby and our selves, its kind of like shitting in your own back yard! the sooner folks learn to keep their noses out of other peoples affairs and stop shit canning fellow hotrodders on public forums for what ever the reason the better of our hobby/life style will be, hell we don't want too really attract the wrong authorities attention now do we stuffing things up for ever? just my 2 cents... by the way awsome pics, keep em coming, and a huge congratulations to Jamie, on his award winning coupe!! on ya bud!

You should have come up and said hello. It may have given me a chance to move away and see something else. They are a good couple of photos of it too. :)
    Considering the day was cloudy.
