Here is an interesting photo of the Alex Dreier 1956 Lincoln Continental Mark II Bubble top custom.
I have never seen any other photos of this car with its cow web panels before. Perhaps an update for a new show season, perhaps some damage to the paint on the sides.

The car is still around, and currently for sale HERE.

That's the GMC L'Universelle. V8 and FWD with a low load floor, it was laudable attempt to rationalize delivery vans, allowing for parking in normal garages. It was unveiled at the GM Motorama show in 1955.

I heard a rumour that he invented the "wacky waving inflatable arm flailing tube man"

What if you added an axle with some airplane wheels, (like what Garlits used to run) to the front end, bolted on so nothing original was touched...sure would be a gas to be able to drive it a little..:)

Here is a custom 58 Vette I seen at a small car show in Maltby Washington Last summer. The picture was in the windshield from it's earlier life in 1962.

Guess I should have just looked at your profile Ghostworks. What is the body you started with and where did you get the bubble at? I really like the look of your build!!
