Alright. Personally I want to see this event out grow our current location. That means new blood. There are some of you guys that have heard about our jolly gang of hotrodders but haven't cruised on out. Let me sweeten the deal just a little bit.

The first newbie cruiser that arrives to our hangout on 8th Ave tonight will get a pinstriped pan to hang over the garage. So get off the pot and cruise on out.

I know I said that I will be there tonight but I have to back out. I have some things that I have to get finished. I was set back as I have not had a steady internet connection in 2 days. I will plan on being there next week.

My car is out of commission at the moment due to exploding wheel bearing on the passenger side. I have to send my spindle back to Speedway and see if they will warranty the spindle and rotor since the outer wheel bearing is forged to the spindle now. Hope they will do the right thing. Maybe its time to get the bed on and tear down for paint. Don't know, just an idea.

 

Id like to see that ride with the bed on it. So gitchurself out there man!

I recall my last statement, I shut the shop down and rode like hell to get home before the rain, I was not successful. With no front fender and no rear fender needless to say I was a soaked puppy. Couple that with a loose throttle that was interfering with my front brake made for a very interesting ride. Atleast it did not injest too much water through the velocity stack, that would have sucked to be stranded in the rain!!!

 

Sorry the rain caught up to you Drew. We got hailed bigtime at our house and then it cleared up. Then I got hungry. Thay cruised out. His new valve covers look clean!!!

 

Yo Steve, resurrect that thread on your cooling issue and lets see if anybody here agrees with my diagnosis.

Yes my stocker valve covers make the engine look alot better IMO.

 

I wish I would have had a good idea of which way the rain was going I would have been better off heading to the hang and then cruising home. I would have missed all of it. It rained for about 20 or 30 min here at home and then quit and the sun started to come out.
