Ok I have searched and havent found a good thread on Kustoms from the 60s. Specifically from 60-64. New builds would be nice to see but would really like to see old photos. I have a lot of books on kustoms but they dont exactly cover the 60s too much. I was looking at Pat Ganahls book The American Custom Car and has a pic in there of the 1962 Los Angeles Winternationals. Anyone have any pics of that show floating around? Just bought something and this will be a new direction for me as I have always been into the earlier stuff. So in other words lets see some candies!!!!!!
Fuzzy Fuerholzer has some really great 1960's Custom Car Show photos. His collections can be seen on my site HERE. HERE is a nice one as well from 1962.
Johnny, this isn't exactly what youre looking for, there are lots of rods in this thread, but plenty of kool 60's kustoms as well... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=129741&showall=1
You're best off to subscribe. My retailer for KI is incredibly unreliable. Subscribe and it comes sealed and protected in a nice envelope, suitable to read and archive.
Is this car sitting up on some sort of stand? It looks like it, They weren't putting hydraulics in cars in '62, were they? Anybody have an answer to my stupid question?
Thanks Bob. I had looked through that thread too. It is on a stand you can see just front of the wheel. Also lets see some new ones done too.... I NEED INSPIRATION......
