    Beautiful upholstery work.

Please tell me you've got a rear firewall to install before she sees much actual driving though.

I have a removable cover that goes over the notch, no air gaps at all.

A true craftsman! ... Not only a master woodworker (furniture/cabinetmaker), but also a metalman, fabricator, bodyman, painter ... and now upholsterer ... it's just not fair that one guy can have this much talent!

A few more updates and some artsi pics.
This car will be an evolving project, a couple more changes/additions planned, but here is how it sits today.

The tired flathead and steering issues are keeping me from doing any long distance trips, but that will all be sorted out, at some point in the future.

On the up side, I found some old Foxcraft skirts that make the car look more complete.

Amazing Chris, what nice touches, perfect stance! Love the rear package tray treatment, the whole ride kicks my butt. Love the non-frenched headlamps. Congrats to a "master of tasty". Nice backdrop photo work. Smokin in the boys room!! ~sololobo~

    Wow, what an awesome car!

I love the chop; I love the color--the reflections are unbelievable.

I really like the Nash hubcaps; they have a really nice "full moon" shape to them.

The rear package tray idea is bitchen, and the fact that you did your own upholstery in addition to everything else is mind-blowing.

Also: nice skirts, great stance, love the third headlight, etc., etc.

Cars like this are exactly what keep inspiring me to (very slowly) finish my own shoebox someday--even though I can't do half of the stuff that you do.

    Great work.

  24. WOW!.,...What else can be said about this car? WOW,pretty much covers it all. Love the skirts,Chris.
