Do you ever come across an old car or truck that looks like the owner would surely love to sell and wont ? Here is a few that I have recently found in my local area...and the owners wont sell. I think they would rather see them rot in their front yards than sell for any price...lets see yours.

I found this one a few years ago and bought it, whats funny is I searched for years all over and this one was less than 2 miles from my house.....Had been parked there in the same place since 1954......the old woman wept when we loaded it on my trailer, It was her late husbands first car and had served as their driver for many years.....I put a batt and gas in it and fired it up....Then I kept it just like this for about a year and half....then I could not take it anymore...off went the fenders, pulled the 4cyl and dropped in a 59AB...And now it is my hopped up 32.......I do not feel bad at all about rodding "Walts 32" As his step grandson told me Walt had always planned on hopping it up himself, But never got around to it......

My 1st car was a 1948 Holden (FX) sedan. I bought it as a barn find (Deceased estate) with 60K original miles. Hadn't been driven in years. When I sold it years later, there were only 66K original miles on the speedo.

My 35 Chevy phaeton was another barn find in 2000. I'm only the 3rd owner. :D

My 46 Olds sedanette was another barn find. It came into Australia in 1990 and sat in a shed until 2005 when I found it. The restorer owner wouldn't sell it to a hot rodder but would sell it to me ;)

I have been trying to buy a perfect 35 Ford that has been in shed for 20 years. Ive known the family for years and the owner died. The family wont sell it and the dont even have a clue as to even how to work on it. Before it was parked it had a fresh lacquer paint job. I try to get pics. I WILL NOT GIVE UP!

Not HAMB friendly but here are pictures of my '56 Corvette when I bought her, she had been in storage for 39 years in the high desert of CA in a garage with so much stuff pilled on top you couldn't even tell there was a car in the garage! The tries just barely could hold air long enough to get it onto a trailer lol. All original parts have been put back on now and the seats/carpet/soft top/etc have all been gone through over the past year...

this pic was taken after we excavated most of the crap around it, you couldn't even tell there was anything under the pile when we first got there.

Always blows my mind as to what people do to such cool cars and boats. How can you let this happen? Ah well guess it works out better for us who find these buried in garages and barns, hidden treasures :D

Here's a couple of a roadster I bought in the early 90s. It had been stored in a building in Canada for 20+ years. The last picture is of me and the original builder when I sold it back to him.
