I used to go every year, or every other. I was there the year they had the first big brawl. We had been down on Virginia Street, and all the hoodlums were walking out in the lanes and getting people to honk horns and crap.

So we had had enough and bounced.

By the time we got to Boomtown, the fight had started. That was 1999. I havent been back.

Having a show in the LA area, I hope the bring the cops in with riot gear.

Luckily, the gang scene has never creeped into the Long Beach area, very peaceful there.

Long Beach,...wasn't that the backdrop that they used for the video game
    "Grand Theft Auto" ?
Sounds like a good place to take your cherished custom/hot rod to...
And H.A.N. is only charging you $50.00 a day for your parking space.

Hey Rocky, you forgot to mention that the thieves like the containers being so close to the port, for shipping the stolen rods over seas too.;)

Yup, it's going to be at the beach first, then up in Reno. Hasn't moved, just expanded.

Looks to be a fun event. I've got your flyer here on my desk. John is/was great to deal/work with. I enjoyed dealing with the Nugget when we had events there years ago. I was Pres. of Reno Corvette's back then and had a blast there.:D

This our clubs answer to the Hot August Nights debacle.
Yeah, it should be a fun event Mr.Jean, it is now expanded into Friday night
with the "Alley" parking cars all the way down to their club on Victorian Ave.
where they will be holding a pre-show and registration party and concert featuring
the "Cowbelleros" and the "Infamous Swanks" playing, and an after show concert
    and party on Sat. night.
The Nugget Casino is now talking to us about next year, moving our show to July 4th
    along with the fireworks afterwards!

HAN I have been going since '88. The key is to stay away...way away from downtown venue. That's the heaviest concentration of the ghetto pinheads..I say put sharpshooters on the the roof tops and pick those pricks off one by one...
We stay around the Atlantis, Peppermill, Nugget, Grand Sierra, usually pretty good crowd...no downtown!!!

Oh I know. Trust me, I'll just be cruising and looking, not entering. I've got enough dust collectors at home already. I enjoy looking/cruising and BS ing, not collecting trophies.:D
